Why are good manners important?

Last week, we talked about color. We talked about how companies use it for advertising and how it affects our mood. Be sure you can talk about:

1. What color are you? Why?
2. What does the color pink/purple/black/etc. make you think of?
3. How can colors be useful?

Be ready to talk, talk, talk about colors for your midterm exam!

On Monday, we are starting a new unit on manners and etiquette. Our unit question is: Why are good manners important?

In America, it is good manners to look people in the eye.

We will discuss manners in our home country. I will talk about manners in America and you will be expected to tell me about manners in Korea.
